VueKlar Cardiovascular is developing cardiovascular implants and interventional devices that will transform implant placement and follow-up procedures, with the objectives of:

• Reducing mortality, morbidity & treatment costs resulting from contrast-induced nephropathy, x-ray exposure, and invasive imaging procedures 
• Improving imaging options for physicians
• Achieving better financial outcomes for hospitals and clinics

While each of our implants has specific, proprietary features that drive these improvements, all our implants include our patented, core technology, MR-Enhancement.

MR-Enhancement solves the well-recognised issues of imaging implants under Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI.)  While commonly-used implants, such as stents, vena cava filters, and heart valves are safe for use with MRI, their properties distort or shade the MR image of the area within and around the device. This means that physicians must continue to use more invasive imaging methods, such as fluoroscopy, in spite of concerns over increasing x-ray burdens and the increased likelihood of complications.

VueKlar Cardiovascular's implants are the only implants designed to allow physicians and patients to benefit from the inherent advantages of using MRI for post-placement follow-up examinations and, in the future, for guiding the placement procedure itself.
